Haversham Outdoor Gym: Location Map
What equipment is actually here?
Pull & push
- Pull-up bars (multi-post wooden style with metal bars)
- Parallel bars / dip bars (sturdy height for dips and Australian rows)

Plyometrics & balance (all timber)
- Balance beams / straddle jump rails
- Jumping beams / low hurdles for bounding and coordination
- Step-up beams (great for unilateral leg work)
- Vault beams for low vaults, support holds and dynamic step overs
Core
- Sit-up station (angled board with foot hold)
Stations are spaced out across the field. It’s easy to add walking/jogging recoveries between sets, but you won’t be super-setting two moves in the same square metre.

20-minute “Village Loop” workout
A simple session you can repeat 2–3× per week. Jog 30–60 seconds between stations.
- Pull-ups / Australian rows – 6–10 reps
- Dips / bench/rail dips – 8–12 reps
- Sit-ups or hanging knee raises – 12–15 reps
- Step-ups (each leg) – 10 reps (control the down)
- Balance beam straddles – 10–16 total contacts
- Low hurdle bounds – 3 × 10 metres (or 12 jumps)
Progressions: add a weighted vest for pulls/dips; swap sit-ups → leg raises; increase bound distance or reduce rest.
Who will like Haversham?
- Beginners & families: approachable kit, safe sight-lines, and the children’s playground next door.
- Runners: easy to mix technique drills (bounds, step-ups, balance) with easy laps.
- Calisthenics fundamentals: great for volume (rows, dips, pulls) and core.
Less ideal for: advanced dynamic bar skills (no tall “cage”), or heavy weighted work unless you bring your own kit.
