Our Philosophy.
In Greek mythology, Sisyphus was condemned by Zeus to an eternal punishment. His task was to push a large boulder up a steep hill, only to have it roll back down every time he reached the summit. This cycle continued endlessly, representing the struggle of human existence.
Despite the repetitive and seemingly futile nature of his task, Sisyphus persisted in his efforts, finding purpose and meaning in the act of pushing the boulder up the hill.
Sisyphus's eternal labour underscores the importance of embracing the present moment and finding joy in the process, regardless of the outcome and the importance of resilience and perseverance in the face of adversity.
We are all like Sisyphus, each pushing our own boulder, that being our goals, dreams, or fitness journey. However, unlike Sisyphus, once we reach the summit, we can enjoy our success without having to begin to push the boulder up all over again. Our progress does not roll back down, instead it gains momentum. Our gained strength, endurance, and discipline continue to build, carrying us forward. We can stand tall knowing that we pushed and kept pushing, even when success felt out of reach, until we finally reached the summit.
